Transparent liners

Aligners

Aligners are transparent braces that are made using digital technology from high-quality patented material with an individual design for each patient.

Aligners

Clear aligners have already become known as an exceptionally effective yet aesthetic alternative to braces. They are often the preferred method of orthodontic treatment among patients because they combine three major advantages:
Because of all this, we can recommend this type of treatment for a wide range of orthodontic cases — from straightening teeth and correcting misaligned bites, to closing interdental spaces and perfectly aligning your smile.

Aligners

The technology for producing clear aligners has been developed, improved, and refined over decades to meet patients’ desire for orthodontic treatment that is as comfortable and aesthetic as possible. Transparent plastic material was used to make such trays as early as the 1960s. However, their true success did not come until the beginning of this century, when Invisalign — a brand fully specialized in creating clear aligners for children and adults — emerged. A brand now recognized worldwide for the high quality of its product and its numerous advantages.

What are they?

Aligners are transparent braces that are made using digital technology from high-quality material according to the individual design of each patient.
One of their biggest advantages over dentures, according to our patients, is the ability to remove and reinsert them. This, on the one hand, allows for precise cleaning, which is crucial for a successful treatment outcome. On the other hand, it gives patients the freedom to choose the time and moments when they wear them.

Who are they suitable for?

Aligners achieve brilliant results in correcting dental arches in many orthodontic cases. Some of them are:
However, aligners are not applicable in 100% of cases; in some cases, a fixed prosthesis is exceptionally indicated.
But there are no age restrictions. Invisalign is suitable

For teenagers

We all know that for young people of this age, appearance is an absolute priority. Invisalign knows this too and is therefore the perfect “Two in One” for vain youngsters: it is almost invisible, while silently and invisibly correcting the smile forever.

For adults

Many adults feel uncomfortable undergoing orthodontic treatment, even though they understand and feel the need for it - due to social factors, public obligations, and many other reasons. For them, aligners are an extremely suitable solution because of their flexible concept - you can remove them whenever you feel they might cause discomfort. And in return, they will put an end once and for all to a far greater discomfort - smiling widely without worrying that something is wrong with your teeth.

Steps and advantages

What steps does the treatment go through?

At Vita Dent, we carefully follow the proven path to a perfect smile – in six simple steps, with no emergencies, contingencies, or surprises.

1. Initial consultation with an orthodontist

First of all, it is important to consult a professional who can guide you towards the most appropriate method for straightening your teeth. You can discuss your wishes as well as the treatment methods with him. During the initial consultation, you will receive detailed information about this process, which we have also briefly described here.

2. Scanning and photographing

The creation of your dental aligners is entirely based on digital technology. Therefore, we need to take a precise impression of your teeth and create a kind of map of your dentition by scanning and photographing. This map will serve your orthodontist for maximum precision in the next steps.

3. Preliminary preparation

Orthodontic treatment will only proceed if your teeth are completely healthy. Therefore, we will examine you carefully and, if any dental disease is detected, it should be treated first.

4. First sample

The first time you put them on, you will likely feel the aligners quite tight. That’s the idea! They are made entirely according to the model of your teeth, and pressure (which should not be unbearable) is necessary for them to work. If needed, adjustments will be made based on the initial set until the optimal result is achieved according to the orthodontist’s assessment and your comfort.

5. Replacement within a certain period

During your treatment, you will change your aligners at specific intervals depending on your progress. The period is strictly individual and depends on the orthodontist’s evaluation, but on average it varies around two weeks. This is because tooth adjustment starts almost immediately. For the aligner to continue applying effective pressure, it needs to be “updated” to match the new position of the dental arch.

6. When will I see the results of the treatment?

Very fast! You will notice visible results in the first few weeks. However, the time frame for final results varies depending on the complexity of each case.
