What is it?

Children's dentistry

Pediatric dentistry is not what it used to be. Long corridors, strict doctors, white aprons and that strong, intrusive “dentist’s office” smell that can’t be mistaken for anything else – at Vita Dent all that is a thing of the past.

Our Mission

To instill in our young patients the right attitude toward regular dental care and to prevent them from developing fear of the dentist. Because we believe that prevention is always better than long and complex treatments in adulthood, which often come at a high cost.

Our Recipe

At Vita Dent, the little ones receive the greatest attention. For them, we equipped a special colorful children's corner for fun while they wait for their turn to sit in the chair. We explain the procedures and treatments in their language so they perceive them as a challenge and a game. We approach their fears with care, gentleness, and patience—until we completely eliminate them and build the children’s trust in the dentist.

Our Goal

Regular visits to the pediatric dentist for prevention, prophylaxis, and timely treatments. They are the guarantee for the flourishing of dental health throughout childhood and throughout life.

What does pediatric dentistry advise?

The first visit to the pediatric dentist should be as soon as the first tooth appears. It may seem too early, but it’s not.

Here’s why:

Pediatric dentistry is clear:

Good dental health in the adolescent body depends on a simple combination of good oral hygiene and regular prophylaxis. While the first is more a matter for the parents, the second is our responsibility. That is why we strive to always be available for our young patients.

Children's dentistry and prevention

One of the innovations that have established themselves in recent years in pediatric dentistry, and which we recommend with both hands, is silanization. It is a fine, inconspicuous coating that is applied to the teeth and protects them from carious processes. You have probably noticed that most often in childhood, caries appear on the chewing teeth – molars. This is because their mineralization is not yet fully complete and they are vulnerable to attack by bacteria.
The invisible film of fillings protects these less mineralized areas from biofilm build-up, plaque and ultimately tooth decay. The procedure is extremely mild and is recommended for children with pronounced tooth decay or earlier eruption of permanent teeth.

Why is tooth extraction necessary in children?

We at Vita Dent are aware that there is no way a procedure like tooth extraction can evoke positive emotions in anyone. At least not in a child. That is why we have long focused our efforts on reducing fear and stress in our young patients and on making the procedure itself as easy and painless as possible. Like a game!
Reasons For Treatment

When should a child’s tooth be extracted?

Expectation

Here's what to expect.

Local anesthesia

Only if necessary! If the tooth is already loose, we may not need it. In other cases, we apply local anesthesia to ensure painless extraction by injecting medication around the affected tooth. We will first review your child’s medical history to ensure the chosen medication is safe.

Speed and efficiency

Tooth extraction in children is usually quick and efficient. In modern conditions, it can take only a few minutes. It must be done strictly according to protocol and impeccable hygiene standards. At Vita Dent, we guarantee this.

Attention, fun, play

Vita Dent’s mission is to change the perception of dental clinics as scary places for children. Treatment here is approached as play and fun. We created a special kids’ corner to distract them from the procedures. We treat them with care, understanding, and gentleness—so the dental chair feels like a challenge and each visit like a heroic achievement.

The best for our children!

Why should you trust us, at Vita Dent?

Because it’s nice here. Children have their own special place in the beautiful and cozy interior of Vita Dent – so that they don’t feel like they’re “at the doctor’s”, but in an interesting and pleasant place.

Because at Vita Dent we will perform the tooth extraction procedure quickly, accurately, painlessly and qualitatively. But the care for the little patient does not end there. After the manipulation is completed, you will receive instructions on the next steps to follow at home.

These include instructions on how to clean the injured area, as well as advice on eating and drinking after treatment. This ensures that the wound heals properly and without complications.
